How long have you been a using this product?
About five months now. |
Describe the features on this product that are most beneficial
to you as a custom installer.
NetZoomAV is a library of manufacturer products, and it is really
easy to use. I am not overly computer literate and the learning
curve to use this program was almost nothing. It doesn’t
require me to open an instruction manual or have any training.
I get access to their entire stencil library that gets updated
every other week. If something I need is missing, all I have
to do is fill out their request form on the website, and it
is developed and added to their download site when it’s
done. I’ve been very impressed at how quickly they have
completed my stencil requests; it has helped me complete projects
in a timely manner. |
For what types of installations is this product most suited?
I have been using it for my residential projects, but the stencil
library also contains commercial products. |

What problems does this particular product model solve
for you as a custom installer?
The software is inexpensive, and it works with the ma- jor design
programs such as Visio, PowerPoint or Au- toCAD. I didn’t
spend much on my subscription, and I didn’t have to buy
any other software to use it. |
What feature or features on this product would you like
to see added or changed in the future?
I would like to see the export feature formatted so I could
more easily develop my proposals from my drawings. Right now
each stencil contains product data that can be exported into
Excel. I use this data to create my proposal, but it would be
nice to have this feature more automated. |
